I came to Huntington Beach for ice cream. Not Handel's. Not some artisanal creamery with a PhD in dairy sciences. Han'. Or Han's. Or Hans Christian Andersen's Ice Cream Emporium of Mystery. Honestly, I was too busy eating to verify the name. I ordered a double scoop on a chocolate-dipped cone covered in peanuts. Then, in a stunning display of self-restraint, I ordered another double scoop on a chocolate-dipped cone covered in peanuts. Each one was $12, which sounds expensive until you're standing there holding what is essentially a frozen monument to poor decision-making and happiness. The ice cream was good. Not "I saw God in a waffle cone" good, but genuinely good. Straightforward, tasty, and exactly what I wanted after wandering around Huntington Beach pretending calories don't apply near the ocean. Service was greatβfriendly, fast, and completely supportive of my quest to consume enough ice cream to alarm a cardiologist. Overall: Good. Would I go back? Absolutely. Mainly because I still don't know the name of the place and need to continue my investigation.

Ice cream was fantastic.. BUT 3 stars because this is the only ice cream Shop Iβve ever been to in my 30 years of life that doesnβt provide samples before you order..because like what if I hated it???. Also the enter/exit is a cluster and annoying

After a relatively quick visit to Hans with my friend the employee working ar this establishment decides to give a half mediocre scoop to me but a full one to my friend. Genuinely disappointed as when confronted with the proportionality I recieved the silent treatment instead

Great quality ice cream, I enjoyed my banana cabana so much. Plus the waffle cone was crispy and yum! The biggest compliment would be the service, basically none! No smiles, no greeting and the young female staff did not even bother to say a thank you when we tipped

This is a little spot in Pacific City shopping area (south end) at the food court area, to your left as you enter from the patio seating. They have many ice cream choices and some yummy ice cream creations that are premade and ready to go. Pricing is fair for the quality and serving. We bought two Munchies and they were solid! I was a little afraid of chocolate on chocolate but to my surprise, it was perfect. The chocolate wasnβt what you find at other ice creameries. Creamy, heavy on chocolate, less sugar, and I could swear I tasted a spice undertone (nutmeg? cinnamon?). It was so good and reminded me of the flavors of handmade ice cream in Mexico. Conclusion: Recommend - will be back!
